Welcome to Family History, a website where I share the amazing stories and memories of our ancestors and relatives. My name is Gerald Heagney. I have created this website to preserve and share my family heritage with future generations.

What You Can Find on This Site

You can find various types of information on this site, such as pedigree charts, photos, scrapbooks, stories, videos, and audios. These items cover different branches and generations of our family tree. I hope you enjoy exploring them and discovering the fascinating people and events that shaped our family history.

Some of the highlights of this site include:

Pedigree Charts:

This section shows the ancestry of individuals in the family database. The database contains over 5000 names of my ancestors and relatives from various branches of my family tree. You can click on the Pedigree link to see a list of names and numbers. Then you can click on the number next to a name to see their pedigree chart. The chart shows the person’s parents, grandparents, and so on, up to six generations. Married women are shown with their maiden names. You can also click on the names in bold to see their pedigree charts. If you have information to add to the pedigree charts, such as dates, places, or sources, you can click on the Roots Information link and fill out the form.

Family Articles:

This section contains photos, scrapbook items, stories, videos, and audios related to the family. The articles cover various aspects of family history, such as births, marriages, deaths, migrations, occupations, hobbies, and events. You can choose the category you want to see and then select a gallery. In each gallery, you can click on an item to see more details. You can also leave comments and share what you know about the item, such as names, locations, and other information.
